My World#21 Overview Park, Bukidnon
This is the Overview Park in Palacapao, Bukidnon. Situated along one of the many zigzag highways of Bukidnon Province, it is an interesting and invigorating stopover for weary and butt-hardened travellers. The eight-hectare park sits on top of a hill overlooking the municipalities of Bukidnon.
The park has been in existence for quite sometime now but recently spruced up with no less than the well-known Davao sculptor, Kublai Millan, doing about 50 sculptures of Bukidnon indigenous people in various mode of activities. Here are some of the sculptures scattered around the park:

Beautiful Park!
The statues look as if they will speak right now.
Lovely place. Looks like I missed this when I was in Bukidnon. Well, because I was just there for the steak! This calls for another visit. :-) Love the couple pounding away!
lovely park...the sculptures look almost whimsical...lots of stairs to descend and/or climb there.

I'm little late on my comment to you - been busy! But thanks for visiting!
Marites, I'd been to Bukidnon but only once. It was a short stay-in and never got the chance of seeing the place inland. The only feature I saw there was the Pineapple plantation by plane.
These photographs are great awakening and enlightening for someone like me. Thank you so much for your innovative postings.
Our country is truly marvellous just like in all other countries. How precious our great Maker indeed for all His wonderful creation.
Hi Marites. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful feature of Bukidnon.
Nice blog.
What an interesting post! Love it.
That's some park. Did one person make these sculptures or is it different artists?
only one artist did this with his crew. the artist's name is Kublai Millan. He's quite well-known in our city and is quite prolific :)
