My World#45 Philippine Churches Part 3: Sistine Chapel of the Philippines
If you are planning to visit churches somewhere in Luzon, make sure to visit Betis Church at Guagua, Pampanga. The church's facade may not look as impressive as its contemporaries, but the interiors of the church more than made up for it. Its wood-carved doors are already precursors of what inside, see the door here.
Betis Church is considered the Sistine Chapel of the Philippines. It is located about an hour ride from Manila and the trip is all worth it.
One of the paintings on the ceiling of the church.

Very beautiful. I loved the image of Jesus.
Those old churches had magnificent art and sculpture, not seen in the modern churches of today. Great shots!
