Skywatch#47 Kennon Road, Baguio
It's the shortest route going to Baguio City from the lowlands especially Manila but for travelers who cannot take the stomach churning zigzag roads, Kennon Road could be the most torturous.
I grew up quite curious about this road as my mother kept mentioning that it was the scariest road she'd ever been. There was no choice because back then, it was the only way up going Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines. Finished in 1903, it was once considered as a summer haven for American expats escaping the scorching summer days. Baguio has now evolved into one of the top tourist destinations in the Philippines. Consequently, Kennon Road is now just one of the three major roads going up Baguio.

What a beautiful sky and winding road...lovely sky shot. Thanks for sharing the sky in Baguio City.
It's pretty but I'd rather avoid Kennon altogether! Too many accidents. :(
Have a wonderful weekend!
When we went to Baguio,we used Marcos Hi-way instead.
